Not sure if it's what you mean, but in ableton you can automate them

I'm up for this one :) will be having something ready in the next days!

In Ableton I had the same problems when trying to automate stuff, most parameters don't show straight away on the device and you need to "Configure" and click on any knob on the plug-in window to get it into Ableton's device, then you are ready to automate that it. Not a clue how to automate the modulation and pitch of the keyboard.

i was thinking that to.

here's a few things i tried.

1. compressor, fast attack, fast release, low threshold, and high ratio.
2. clip in mixer, then use the filter to mellow it out a bit.
3. stack lots of the eq's together on their default setting.

3 worked the best.

I was having those automation problem people were speaking about.

Crazy thing, I was automating the waveform in elektro, and the gui would switch at the right time, but the actual waveform switch would be delayed for a bar.

I'm voting we use a more stable synth next time.

and one that's available natively for Mac (referring to the DSP VSTs, whatever they were called).

Is there freeware for mac? Thought all the mac professionals would have no need for freeware.
