erkan's organized samples - real drum sounds
full clip ad rock drums - more real drums
meanbeat - meanbeat drum samples
drum machine sample collection - kinda self explanatory
sh101 square - multisample of the square from the roland sh101

can you tell the majority of my sample folders is percussion :6:

Nice one man! At some point I've really got to get round to organising and compiling some of my samples for this. A lot of the things I've recorded are quite low quality though...dunno if people would still want them.

deadly habit wrote:bump and a quick lil service announcement:
for those of you using free file sharing services such as mediafire, rapidshare, etc this will give you an unlimited host for your sample packs/presets and a direct link available with no waiting
all it takes is a quick pm to get access to uploading
if ftp upload is not your forte, or you want this to be a mirror for something you have already uploaded make a tag of dsfsampleswap in the thread and pm me and i'll try to get it uploaded for said user asap

i usually don't do this, but my wallet is looking pretty barren these days and the yearly hosting bill is coming soon, so any donations people would like to make towards this and the production blog so i can keep it ad free would be appreciated. i set up a paypal just for this mhigbee420@gmail.com
every lil cent would be appreciated so i don't have to go give handjobs in an alley to keep it running :6:

as an incentive for donating i'm gonna offer a few tier levels:
2$/1 Euro/1 Quid - release of your choice in format you want from tentative or any tune from my commercial back catalog
8$/5 Euro/5 Quid - add to tentative promo list (all future digital releases for free, plus i'll toss you the back catalog)
20$/15 Euro/15 Quid - all of the above plus next 3 physical releases (have 2 cds planned for 2011 plus more)

i know it's not much to offer, but it's the one way i can think of to say thank you
just added:
Akai Drum Samples
SpeakAndSpellSamples
breakbeat collection
little-scale_Mega_Drive_Sample_Set

ok just as a heads up i moved some files about so some links in threads or in this thread may need to be changed
the main directory is still: http://www.tentativerecordings.com/sampleswap
there are now 3 sub directories so far (may add more such as plugins and software if wanted)
for now there is:
Documents: http://tentativerecordings.com/sampleswap/Documents/
Presets: http://tentativerecordings.com/sampleswap/Presets
Samples: http://tentativerecordings.com/sampleswap/Samples/

once again it'd be nice to have some other people up some content for a change and this gives you a few more categories to choose from and offers the community a more central place to go for stuff as well
any other suggestions list em here peeps

sticky?
pretty much should cut out the need for free file services for users on here
and assuming i can get enough in donations and from my own pocket by the time the hosting contract is due for renewal it should be good for at least 3 years ;)

Uploaded a zip file of 31 presets for the combinator, suitable for Reason 4 and above. Oddly quite a lot of 'midrange cack' style things in there so would probably be useful for newbies looking to make that kind of track though there's a whole range of style of sound.
