Just recieved this from Dubway:

i read the thread and i like the idea.

i see that you need domain, logo, blog etc.

i already have old DSF blog (which i run in 2005. before i started the forum) on domain http://blog.dubstepforum.com which i didn't use for ages.

so i thought that would be ideal domain for you and i decided to remove the old blog and install new WordPress blog on that domain for you to use.

as you can see on http://blog.dubstepforum.com blog is already up and running and is fully functional.

i can make you Administrator of the blog so that you have full control over the blog:

- you can change appearance (themes) and settings as community think is best.

- you can make users: Contributor, Author or Editor.

i can even send you dsf logo in vectors on email (give me your email) so that you can adjust the logo to best fit the blog.

there is only one condition:

- i want DSF blog to be run democratically so that you listen (constructive) advices of DSF members and i want that every (constructive) member of DSF has a chance to became a Contributor, Author or even Editor.

please let me know what you think.

Cool that's great we do need articles to start of with. But the core things are the design, who's going to do what, and the format of it, I'm gonna make Phigure a Designer so that he can come up with a design.... and once we've got the basic structure in place we can start thinking about writing more posts. So if come up with a few initial posts on the topics/in the format that we've discussed and then we can start getting out shit together.

started work on it, wrting articles and design etc, going to get everything sorted for a big launch

We've hit a snag. Everytime I make a new category or page the links don't work. This means the navigation is fucked rendering the site useless. Now, the thing is, I could keep the domain and make another, identical blog to this one as it may be an issue with this old blog (no matter what I do I can't seem to sort it, Erebus has had a look too) Woukd people mind if we did this, is this possible and and how do we go about doing it? (in Wordpress?)

unfortunately I'm really busy since school just started up again

I'd be happy to put the work in and do stuff for this but I really need to see more momentum behind it. i've got school as well as other projects that take up a lot of my time, and if i can't be sure that this is going to take off, i'd rather not waste my time. tbh, the blog will run just fine for a week or two without some sort of superleet wordpress theme
