that is what crowley would do. would also work to look at a pile of super cute puppies or baby pandas, or whatever it is that makes you feel warm inside.
emotional vibration is the key to forcing the hand of chance.

i believe this grant morrison guy a whole lot more than i believe any priest i've ever met.
i love this thread, it has most of my favorite forum members in it.
really, i understand the naysayers. however, why on earth would people say this isnt real without trying it and studying the hell out of it?
i'm probably gonna watch all the docs in this thread about 100 times and try everything, because... why not? its the only way to see for myself. people should spend less time arguing and more time investigating! even if it ends up not being real, you've expanded your mind more than it is right now!

mmmm please keep on believing that

Starting to think it's better to leave you in your bubble, you'll be fucked when it pops
I'm not at all threatened by things I don't understand... Why girls cry for example, or why dogs have real good sense of smell, yet constantly fucking reek
I do understand this shite though, just happen to see right through it. Surely you do!? No way could someone claim to be such an avid psyconaut yet, as I said earlier, still buy the Argos version
Funny thing is morons like you would have wet dreams at my psychedlic experiences invoilving contact with aliens etc. The only thing is, I don't weigh those parts of trips with greater value/realism than the parts of watching multi-coloured ginger bread men dancing or seeing my mates turn into treeees. Idiots like 'these speakers' just know which parts to omit... Sure, they ain't stupid, they just found a niche to milk, full of tits like you
wonkknow you skiddy noob you got no idea of my beliefs

I ain't even got beliefs, live by thought like a free thinker should

You're just another unoriginal tard that even had to reverse my own witty remark
Yeaaah parson block me, u da man bro, fill dat foe list!

I see BBJ's point:
Man lectures crowd on the power of individual free thought
However, as someone (cba to find it) mentioned, the basic truths of placebo science and the recent revelations in quantum physics all point to facts that mystics and 'spiritualists' have believed for centuries/millenia, it's just less of a leap of faith for most people when the water's been tested in a methodical scientific way (like acupuncture or something..)
I think 'magick' is cool but it's what you do with the ideas (like dianetics or religion). People without the ability to think for themselves will never benefit

i know, but you see my point right? it's like trying to quit smoking without knowing how smoking works, why you like it or why you find it hard to stop. Without knowing YOUR place/context in the system it would be very hard to benefit from such knowledge (knowledge that is incomplete without applying to your own situation, like religion again, I guess).
DONT GET SEMANTIC ON ME BLUD

Knell - it's a case of glorifying the obvious. No one needs to state that people are more attracted to positive people than negative people. (THE BASIC FUCKING TRUTHS OF ATTRACTION!!!!!!!!) i.e. your parents split up, you figure out which one is best for getting certain things in life. So many obvious examples: People generally get what they need (i.e. the inner surge to attain stability) - I can always find grass, my horny mate can always find a european bird for a shag. When it's taken to the next levels though, for example, grant morrison (or grant mitchell) cannot use this joke system to do something as simple as regrow their hair. Why is there hair missing? Fast multiplying cells are killed, such as in chemotherapy... Take it from there, perfect LOL of having a baldy lying to people saying they can get what they want, when th reality is he needs their admission fee's to buy a posh wig
There's beauty in simplicity, and it seems that very essence crushes your ironic grasp of what free thinking is: you can't accept that people are herd forming, and want to be with +ve attitudes rather than -ve ones, so turn to 'magick' to feel unique, manipulative and as if you're in control
Lloydnoise - wicked example with the smoking ting

Explains why people will get frustrated with withdrawal due to nature of nicotine and the over compensation of action around the synapses etc
I'm really just Parson's account from the future anyway,
post bubble popping. The aliens ain't even heard of him (assuming those hallucinations were real! Thought I'd ask)

agree with that point
'what's that, you're poor and live in a brazilian slum? Your fault for not thinking positively enough!'
That said I am a firm believer in positive thought as even if it doesn't achieve anything tangibly different, at least you're living a happy life

some serious retardation going around in here.
none of these dismissals hold any water. the only function they serve is providing us with a display of how easily people can fool themselves into thinking they're not idiots.

magick and medicine are not any more at odds with each other than physics and biology.
