there is no such thing as a straight line, my friend
bit pedantic dont you think?

and there are straight lines i can see one from here.
only when you go closer does it change.
your name is fractal, you should understand what i mean.
there's nothing wrong with what he said in this quote, just there is no relevance for the discussion where this was used as an argument.
the problem is not always in the dots, but many times in the way dots are connected

no relevance? i guess only because you deem it so? lol, i forgot who i was talking to. i'll step out. just thought it would be fun to talk about real things instead of only hint at some unseen truth you and a couple other people on this forum seem to have found :t:

why not let us just accept and respect each others opinion? That way we're all happy

but then again, all roads lead to the truth. some just need to take different routes
it is not a religion. it is a technology.

yeah I think I kinda understand what you mean.. but isn't religion just worshipping the upper force and living by its 'rules' or something?
i use the terms religion and philosophy interchangeably because i think it's only ego that makes one believe his or her philosophy or science is any different from a religion. all are based on theorems, are often disproved & revised and are man made... some include deities, some don't. Buddha said that the truth is the moon, and words are the finger pointing at the moon. the words will never be the moon, but they can help point the way. even so, we see the moon with our own eyes (perception)

really though ancient egypt's height was arguably 11,000 years ago and it's clear that is where kabbalah comes from. i reckon it ain't from this planet even.

Is there anything demonstrable about kabbalah? One thing we can test?

i respect it

anyways, I don't know enough qua knowledge to be talking about it.. just know that there's more to life than this, and have the feeling kabbalah is what's going to answer my questions..

having discussions now seems so...... unnecessary, you know..

its time for me to read books now :) i want to learn how the universe works. like science, only without too much boring math

Strongly recomend this book

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ketamine-Dreams ... 0966001931

Think it'll be right up your street (don't take the face value that it's "just a book on ketamine")

Also it'll emphasise some of the dangers of what can happen through temptations offered by the other side, many case studies, the most famous including Marcia Moore

thanks for the recommendation, i'll bookmark it - I might read it some day, but for now Im just gonna be focussing on kabbalah for a while (otherwise i'm gonna be mixing things up etc.)

also i've never done ket, and i'm not really drawn toward that drug. I'm quite happy with the occasional shroom and acid.

It isn't all in particular about ket (nor is the modern stigma of ket particulary about the drug)
