I've used the yamaha's and adams fairly regularly at college. The yamaha's make things sound pretty where the adams are brutally unforgiving. not used the dynaudio's but they are very reputable i've heard.
so you think the yammies are colored much? i knew they were more hi fi than either the adams or dyns, but a lot of reviews seem to say they translate decent enough. tbh im not THAT concerned with ultra perfect crystal clear and polished mixes, just something decent enough to listen and produce on.

Yeah they do still translate nicely, i've heard my friends songs done on them in a club and they sounded good. But really the adams are harsh on you at first but you get used to it.
