like its something to be ashamed of and hide in a closet...and not understanding what irony means when the word is dropped

it's not really worth entertaining this but fuck it. previously I was criticising someone for defending disabled people but simultaneously mocking them in the way they did it. Then I did it myself (in mock seriousness, hence the deliberate ironic humour) to take the piss.

Don't worry though this argument is dead.

Pistonsbeneath wrote:you fucking idiots

he has a speech related disability

so it affects how he speaks

hes clearly very intelligent and that has no relation to his disability

jesus christ youre the ones obsessed with being pc clearly

and badman juice way to ignore everything else i posted..just focus on that that feeds your agenda that everyone feels sorry for him...maybe you think him getting pulled out of his wheelchair is ok too because we wouldnt want him to be treated any different to all the other protesters -w-

ffs wheres the intelligent people on here gone?
firstly, spot on. glad we agree. you gotta admit though, when you're chatting about a case like this and then drop the line 'despite his disability spoke much better than i would have done' when the guys clearly got a speech disability it SMACKS of condescension - you aint got a case there mate, soz, i know what you meant but dont get on your high horse when people call you up on it.

secondly, theres not much wrong with being PC about things...

thirdly no one suggested pulling the guy out of his wheelchair to treat him the same, if you wana chat about people lacking intelligence stupid comments like that dont really help your case do they - its obvious no one implied that.

as far as i stand on the issue, i said everything i needed to say in my other post. inabit. :t:

good lord

the only thing that might prevent him speaking clearly would be his speech related disability

that was all i was referring too

i have a case thanks as that was all i was saying..we are all equal...i am 6 ft 5 so have to sit on the back seats of a bus downstairs for the legroom....this isnt a reflection on anything but my height
