"I think you need all that bass."
"I got it modified with the TK, which kicks it up another three or four quads per channel. But that's technical talk. That doesn't really concern you."

friend of mine picked this up at the thrift store recently. not my cuppa...more like an electric jug
dont know the details, but i wouldnt consider choosing the psyche ward over prison pussin out. kind of a lateral move if you ask me.
anyway 13 has been my lucky number as of late, so thus begins my 13-post campaign to magic time.
big up TXz!

all that cult of aten shit on the cover intrigues me
its the same imagery the illuminati uses and for some reason various hippie cults as well

Texas crew represent! I'm from Dallas originally, but now I'm up in DC working for XM Satellite Radio...and if it hasn't already been mentioned, Mundo's from Dallas too, he actually threw a lot of the parties I went to as a kid...anyone who hasn't heard his new stuff should definitely hit up boomkat.com or elsewhere and check, he's got some wikkid bass grinders...
And as for Texas in general, I'd say it's a fairly excellent place so long as you stick to the big cities (Austin and Dallas in particular)...the rest of the state I can't speak for people-wise, there are indeed some demented individuals & practices that're deeply ingrained, but Austin at least hosts SXSW, a week-long music conference that kicks innumerable varieties of ass, and the city itself is pretty much gorgeous year-round. 70 degrees, balmy, sunny, lushly vegetated, and great bars everywhere...definitely a chilled out place. Dallas is more like the Detroit of the South, real gritty and industrial place, especially with that evil glowing green orb that hangs over the skyline (it looks truly surreal when the fog rolls thick over the river)...Dallas is the place to be if you're a hard-bitten junglist or a well-funded club-kid...plus they've got the long-running Dub Assembly nights that bring sick ass dubstep to the masses, which never hurts

When is it not in ATX? Seriously, I was just down for sxsw a few weeks ago and coming back to then-icy DC was incredibly hard...plus my girlfriend's a huuge fan of the city (she went to UT), so she always gets sad when we have to go...
