Humans, with their limited capacity for everything, claiming they know something, despite not being able to prove anything, just come across as arrogant.
Even if you've seen something that cements it in your mind, it still means nothing. You're only ever going to see things from your perspective which is barely enough for you, let alone every other human.
The apocalypse could well be drawing near, but to claim you definitely know it is or isn't is just arrogant and stupid.

What are you saying then?
Apocalypse was the wrong word to use. End of the world as we know it would be better. It could be destruction, mass enlightenment or something else.
