I don't think facebook has really socially affected me in a bad way. In fact, if I wanna see my friends, I just write on their wall saying I'm coming over.

ALTHOUGH, saying that, my housemates are ADDICTED to facebook. Like really badly. They'll be in the same room and talk to each other on facebook. It disgusts me. Oh, and when people write statuses on nights out. Eeeeeeeeeeewwwww no no and just no. "OMG I'M HAVING SUCH A GREAT TIME" obviously not if you're on facebook.
:z: :z:

I don't know about all you guys, but the "night after" news feed is filled with this tripe:

omgg dyingggg!! MaccyDz should def do deliveriess!<3xx
Never again. Never. I am going to stay in bed all day.
I'm on it tonight BOOM.
Can't wait till work is over, so I can get ON IT AGAIN

fuck it is THE SAME SHIT. ALL. THE. DAMN. TIME.

Facebook, I find, is only good for reading statuses about novel situations with a humorous slant. People either bitch, make some grandiose yet hollow statement or just post menial random shit.

Frapes are also fucking annoying. My friend gets fraped at least once a week, and it just isn't funny.

I like it when people have arguments over facebook, but you gotta be quick because sometimes they delete it after.

Frapes are always boring, ALWAYS about homosexuality, everytime.

Only good one was a college friend was fraped by her boyfriend saying she was pregnant. She has all of her family added and they went APESHIT. Even one of the lecturers read it, and the next day it spread to all the other lecturers who proceeded to congratulate her and everything

the most annoying facebook trend at the moment is the semi-ironic, post-modern comedian

example:

Whoever: Pointless status update number 335 - today i've done something. HAHAHAHA

Whoever: Here's me talking about stuff. Stuff is great. Things.

Whoever: I am on the toilet.

etc. etc.

yes. i get it. you think people's statuses are inane and boring, you are expressing this by manufacturing your own, inane, boring, nonsensical status updates, NO ITS NOT FUCKING FUNNY OR SMART, and YES YOU DO FUCKING CARE WHETHER ITS FUNNY OR SMART

same group of people who's one, immutable frape is ''Whoever - HAS AIDS!"

jesus wept.

the ones that really annoy me are the people who beg for likes on there status

or the ones that join 1500000 groups that are usually something really pretentious and stupid

facebook in general annoys me, tempted to get rid of it

I hate Facebook, but at the end of the day it just depends on who you have as friends on it.
