Did Zomby not once have a big issue with the fact there was another artist called Zombie or something similar to his name? And had a big fucking rant about it?

Wonder what he thinks about this Zomboy character. Judging by the way he's jackin skrillex's sounds, something tells me he wasn't called Zomboy until after Zombys success

inb4 his flatmates telling us he his mum nicknamed him Zomboy when he was 4, bout the same time he started making these unique patches with the tremendous foresight that noise like this would one day sell

hitching a ride off the back of other peoples success reeks of desperation!

(however if this is all just a ploy to fuck Zomby off then fair play to him )

LOL cyrex on his sc. he used to right I sample basslines cause I can't afford to make them and then he sent me a tune and was kinda of a dbag. oh man and kids on YouTube says Bro you have some amazing sounds -.-

ehhh,, whatever you say mannny haha. if zomboy are original sounds, he made them too too too too too similar to skrillex sounds. Im kinda on the edge about zomboy, cyrex can piss off though he admitted to it, if you can afford a daw, it comes with some type of synth.

I'm gonna end this debate for once and for all.

well presets, first off hmmm, and secondly how come loads of other producers manages to sound original then when there are only a certain amount of synth sounds, im pretty sure there are endless possibilities with synthesising sounds, what he means is theres only a certain amount of filthy womp womp sounds that he likes to copy/steal.

It's sad how Zomboy is even getting big at all. Whether he uses Skrillex samples or not, his songs are meh and boring.

josh seems like a nice dude, he very likely sampled a growl but it got him signed to never say die, so good for him.
life isnt fair, neither is the music biz.... (i know first hand, im the head of A&R for an indie label)

Tommy Dash (skism/ctrl z) owns Never Say Die, and obviously liked the zomboy stuff enough to sign it, and push it out to UKF.
so yes, zomboy is about to get bigger.. again, good for him. hating on another artist for their success, regardless of wether you like it or think its deserved, will get you nowhere, is unprofessional, and bad for you your karma... his alleged sampling prob isnt good for his karma either but thats besides the point.

if anyone cares there is a free download on his facebook page for that song thats on UKF.
