I have alot of respect for his honest responses and willingness to talk about life and not just music...

Normally having violent mood swings would be a sign of deep psychological problems and would naturally hinder musical ability,
I just whipped that up and had to blindly use it.

Instead he's just a very calculated dude who knows exactly how he wants to play the game. Thats why he goes about talking about putting up flyers on his wall and trying to play up how shit used to be to play romantic for the young folks. Thats why he takes a stab at an artist bigger than he is. It reads well, and he wants to make sure his image is constructed for maximum benefit.
Of coourse nothing wrong with this... infact I applaud the effort as it blatantly works on a large portion of internet going folks. He understands how to hold focus

Don't think Zomby was joking in that thread to be honest. The guy is clearly a top twat on a personal level, does make some good music though.
That Blackdown et all thread was funny though, wasn't it Ramadanman who told him to sample some rain? The highlight was Ramadanman calling Dusk & Blackdown racist because it was an anagram of "black dads dun know"

Yeah, that's right! Too funny... I don't think zomby is a twat, sometimes humor is hard to translate over a text medium
But then again, my opinion is pretty biased

are you really talking about dude's hair ? that is fucking paralyzingly gay . you're part of the reason why people like zomby dont care about pleasing fans. you're just a bunch of anonymous gossipers drooling over tidbits. id tell you all to fuck off too
honestly i can understand his attitude, because when i make music the absolute LAST thing i ever consider is making other people happy. i could care less what people think of me, or even if they buy my music. i make music for my own selfish reasons

Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of zomby stuff (Where Were U In '92? is one of my fave albums of all time), and I rate the guy incredibly (no problem separating the person from the music), he's just unnecessarily confrontational for no reason.

Good interviews, in particular the 2nd where he mentions his dad and the relationship they had together with music. Reminded me of my relationship with my father and how the music brought us together and how I felt when he died.

Hardly the "positive vibes" you're always preaching though is it?
We'll never agree on this, let's just agree that we're both gonna buy his new album on wax
