Shane merked Otis.

Shane = Smart

Shane is also bloody good with the clippers, perfect DIY haircut.

wtf is this? the characters are 2d as hell and the acting is below average- just like any other horror film. i watch the show because of the tension/atmosphere and zombie scenes. Daryl is really the only character that is interesting to watch, the others are just bland or more commonly, really annoying.

Every time I see this thread resurface I know that it's time to watch another episode

To be honest I think that the whole execution of getting the respirator was piss poor. Why did they waste all of the flares just to get in? Why not have one guy act as a distraction for all of the zombies, lure them away while the other grabbed what was needed, and then meet up later? So many poor choices... definitely wouldn't survive a real zombie apocalypse...

Still waiting for the random loner trader guy to appear (fallout/stalker/etc style kind of guy), most likely having found that stupid girl...

EDIT: Not saying that he does exist. Just that he should.

I think the two big questions which when answered will undoubtedly be a major twist in the plot are...

i) What did Dr Jenner whisper into Rick's ear before they left the CDC?

&

ii) When and how will Merle reappear?

Any speculations?
I) Lori is pregnant

II) I don't know, but I can't wait

Shot to the head seems like it would have done the job just as well... don't think that zombies are fussed with whether what they're chomping on is alive or not...

nah it'll be Morgan Jones coming out the woods with Sophia and Duane in tow.

also... something that i've wondered... if the zombies eat the flesh down to the bone out of hunger (like the dude that hanged himself in the tree)... how come there are so many zombies with flesh? are they all just people who got bit and then ran away?

Agree with a shot to the head, agreed with poorly executed. I was only commenting on the tactic of betraying Otis in the first place.

sheesh,.. Otis saves Shane's life, then gets kneecapped in return and you all give it the thumbs up, bunch of ingrates.
But have to say, this season is looking pretty soft so far, am wondering what the black helicopters in the episode sneak are going to come in to the story.

truth, Shane could at least have put him out of his misery
letting your bro get eaten alive is pretty cold, and there was plenty of Otis to eat before hitting vital organs

well the creator already said he's not sticking to the comic book, so who knows what's in store

Notice the bold. I'm not giving it a thumb's up as to how it was executed...you're an ingrate! Nerrr! :P

Is there a way I can unsubscribe from a thread? My OCD over leaving no posts in my posts search unread is making me very sad.

I'm gona stop watching this show. Not enough zombies and the acting just isn't believable. I find myself feeling bored too much when I watch it.

If the director even loosely keeps following the plot of the comic series I can guarantee it'll be worth watching.
