Definitely. Except you FL Users and your damn soundgooderizer. lol Also I'm a bit fuzzy with notch filters and things of that nature but thats just from lack of practice...

anybody know how to make a reese like this? it sounds so beefed, while, at the same time, its all high end and trebly. any idea?
add a sub or beef up the sub right before you distort/saturate then eq/filter sub out and add "cleaner" sub

how bout we talk about how to make your Reese fit in your track and making multiple of them sound good together and how to make the more intresting then just a straight note. cause mostly that seems to be my problem is making them sound intresting and not simple throughout

In my original post the reese is doing a whole riff. It sounded weird to me because it was soooo just... reesey but I actually ended up side chaining it to the kick and it added some really interesting motion. Then doing some EQ sweeps to give it some like wishy washy motion sounds all kinda spiced it up for me and my taste at least. I feel like getting the reese to interact more with the sounds around it by side chaining or automation or anything you can think of really is what gives them personality that I feel like adds a lot to a Reese.

Yeah, I tried to sidechain the reese I made with my kick, sounded awesome. + at 130 bpm with a 4x4 beat, it made me wanna dance. I really should start experimenting more with reeses.

I took the '99 Reese Smooth' preset bass from NI Massive, and turned it into a bro-steppish bass.

If anyone wants and likes it, here it is :)

Yeah dude that pumping side chained feel added to a reese really just makes you wanna move. Ive been missing out not adding more reeses to my songs. That glitched out skrillex style is cool and all but giving it a smooth reese foundation really makes it groove and makes it infinitely cooler if you ask me.

also holy shit i can change my font color

amateur I know... but seriously this is the first post I've made that got over 1000 views so awesome guys! Glad I could start something everyone wants to talk about! This has been a super helpful thread! Keep it coming for sure!

Tweaked the fx on the tutorial I made, and just made a short loop. Nothing special, but imo it sounds good. :P
But there's something in there that I can't hear before I export, made it sound worse.. :/ lol enjoy
