what are you all so stressing out about? I've been going to dour for 6 years now and I never encountered any cops (except for the ones at the entrance that basicly just sit there and don't do anything). And the security is one big joke

I mean, I've seen people carry big signs around which either says "I'm selling mushrooms/pills/weed" or "I'm looking for drugs".

And Rekorder, I wouldn't get my hopes up too much for the nice lake. The last 3-4 years it's getting more and more popular and almost impossible to have a relaxing swim. The first couple of years there were maximum 100 people over there while last year there were probably around a 1000. A kid died overthere as well because he jumped of a big cliff into the cold water and went into shock. So it could very well be the lake is guarded this year.

But except for that Dour is real nice. Two years ago there were just too many people at the festival but last year they anticipated it and everything was much better organised.


Guess we'll have to do a meeting friday night in the dubstep tent.

Oh, one thing though. Dour is well known for getting your stuff nicked so it's best to either leave your expensive electronics at a locker in Lille (or where do you get of?) or hide it real well. Ah and another pointer, if you like to get some sleep during the festival bring earplugs and avoid putting your tent up in area's where those big, bright lights are because otherwise it's 24/7 light and very noisy

I disagree with this. You're more likely to get ripped off the more stupid you are. You get a better class of dealer on average at festivals than a lot of clubs and warehouse parties I'd say.

You can definately get good hallucinagens at festivals as the psy hippies crawl out of their caves.

How much are we paying per, say 2g of green at Dour?

And is there actually going to be a dubstep tent? We need to erect a big Dubstep flag and get all the forum heads to camp by.

I know it might be a long shot but is there anyone who lives in the 'Dam who'df put me up for a couple of days after the festival, as I'm going to stop by for a couple of days on the way back? All the good hostels seem booked up around that time.
