but the absolute highlight was a full week of absolutely no memory (klonopin zone) followed by 4 days of rehab followed by a trip to atlanta to open for silkie

was WAY cool

2011 was a fucking roller coaster. Countless best moments, countless worst moments, I don't even know where to start. I have a feeling 2012 will be no different.

Taking a month off work to travel round Thailand with my girlfriend was amazing. As was my 2nd Outlook, I loved it just as much as 2010 and cant wait for this years as well.
But I think possibly eclipsing those 2 just about would be finally buying my Civic Type R after desperately wanting one for almost 10 years!

All the earthquakes levelling my city.. taking out power and water at my house
or losing my job and being unemployed for 9 months
or breaking up with my girlfriend and finding out she cheated on me
orrr my dad getting cancer
oorrr pretty much ruining one of my closest friendships with my stupid behaviour

Yeah so many hilights to choose from. big ups 2011.

Had a pretty crazy but good year in '11.

Highlights would probably be:

1) Whirlwind trip through The Phillipines and Bali in the Spring
2) Being part of the crew for an amazing art installation at Burning Man... "The Pier"

2.5) Having my best experience at Burning Man yet... beyond the art and stuff.
3) Cooking amazing food with amazing folks in amazing places (Bali, Burning Man, a host of farms and wineries)
4) Being a part of the local Occupation camp and helping to establish the kitchen area there.
5) Finishing classes at school and starting my externship

...those pretty much cover the highlights. Many more trivial bits of awesome definitely made it great (but incredible challenging and difficult) year.

2012 is going to be incredible!

Not the best year, but what I can think of right now is on New Year's Eve I smoked an eighth + a dime and that was probably one the funniest nights of my life.
