Not tried it myself, but I reckon this is some good advice. I've heard the same thing from other people who do dance classes.meanmrcustard wrote:Start dancing.
Seriously, last year I started swing dancing (fuck you, it's awesome) in Brixton (same building, but just downstairs from Mass of DMZ fame actually). The classes get to the point where they stop letting girls sign up and only guys can sign up because there are already too many girls. How it works is that the girls rotate around so you dance with everyone as the night progresses, which gives you a chance to meet everyone without any pressure. Then everyone goes to the pub afterwards where you can make more chat.
I signed up with my girlfriend, but made the mental note that if I was to find myself single any time soon, dancing classes would be the way forward.
You can thank me by making me best man at your wedding.
You might meet a girl you get with, if you're naturally a bit tense or nervous with women then it'll help you get over it, and if you get nothing else out of it you'll end up shit hot at dancing.

im currently chatting to a girl i added on facebook just because i thought she looked fit. james HK and Widowmaker both know her (i think)
Ive never met her, but ive been chatting to her/texting her for about a month now, going to meet her tommorow, ill let you know how it pans out.
