Finally gave this a listen while i was on the train home (iPod headphones) and I couldn't wait to get back to listen to it on my speakers back home. Just finished listening through on my speakers and this may be my favourite album so far this year, its fantastic!

Big up Seven this album took me completely by surprise!

big album - the first half especially is nuts. insane production going down. gets a little too jump-up for me towards the end but i appreciate the diversity and it's all tasteful. one thing though - does anyone else feel that it's a bit of a victim of the loudness war..? it sounds pretty heavily compressed/limited to me, and a look at the waveform shows it all to be pretty much blocked out at all times. seven's mixdowns are always top, feels like maybe the engineer got a little carried away or something

It was mastered by Beau@masterpiece. It's dynamically spot on in my opinion.
Where are you looking at the waveform? If it's soundcloud then it's not as accurate as something like Peak, so it might look clipped etc.

I appreciate your feedback though :)

Big up

Thoroughly enjoying the album, loving the diversity across the tunes. Regardless of the style there's always that distinct Seven sound.

Demons is the one for me, been crazy about that tune since Yunx first played it.

Big up Seven, look forward to hearing what you got in store for us next!

it was when i loaded it up into serato (had to finally mix breathe :Q: ) - it sounded a little flat to me, and the waveform looked a little off, but i'll have another listen tonight without it going through my mixer, maybe something was off on the EQ/levels on there. like i say though, proper big album man - big up!

Twilight Horizon is the stand-out track of this album, can't believe it is not on the vinyl.

Also very good are demon and evolution. Most of the other trax are also very good. Only trax i did not like were the trax featuring alys b on the vocals, she is so untalented, also ruined a Kryptic Minds track in the past. She has no soul in her voice, her voice would fit better to a 0815 uplifting trance track.

Sorry to hear you think that way about Alys. I think she is a fantastic singer and writer. I personally think came to play is one of the strongest tracks on the album too.

But ya cant please everyone though as they say.

I plan to work with Alys more. We're gonna try all different vocals angles. So i am confident you will like one of the future tracks.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it. :)

Came To Play definitely one of the stronger tunes. Bit sweeter than I usually go with 140, but undeniable quality - I think the vocals make that track what it is tbh! Rest of the album's big though, so chuffed to have a tune like Stormz Over Mars in the arsenal as well - absolute stomper.

came to play is my favourite too, why is it not on vinyl??!?
basically the only two songs i don't like on the album are evolution and picture this, all the others are really great and for such different reasons. great album but just a bit disappointed with the vinyl tracks, most of my faves aren't on vinyl which sucks cos i dont play cd's. i can safely say though that demons will certainly be in every set i play for the forseeable future!
