Only that there needs to be something to convert the digital output from the LO into the analogue signal for your headphones. A DAC is just the digital > analogue converter. If you use a LO to Male then Female to Female which you intend to stick your headphones into I don't know where the DAC in that chain is.

Following in the footsteps of the HD-202 peeps...

...the HD-201's are also great - for $22 (US) you can't beat 'em. Sound great, comfortable, nice flat response.
