Dude be positive that you even have a day job. I'm 18 and still have no luck with the employers of the world. Take that money and use it creatively. But don't become materialistic and flaunt your shit and buy overly expensive shit. Buy walmart brand cereal and give your change to the foodless.

Thanks, I needed that, actually. And trust, I am the least materialistic person I know. It's just that my day job is working for my dad, who subconsciously or otherwise belittles my musical aspirations. He places his own dreams above mine and makes me feel like I should be worrying less about what I do and more about what he does... In short he treats my music like it's a hobby, and it's absolutely toxic to my psyche. So I guess it's not really my day job that is an issue and more who I am in contact with during my day job.
Sorry to rant.

Nah dude it's cool, just let all your negative feelings out so more positive vibes can come in. I know how you feel because my dad can be a dick as well, but you just gotta keep thinking that no matter what you're dad does and how he feels that you're still a good person and no one can hurt you.

In with the good thoughts out with the bad. I guess this'll just serve to remind me not to miss a few days of journal entries.

I'd to point out you're probably drastically over-hyping the effects of weed friend. You're just gonna get fucking stoned. Big bag of food, liter of water, then you're gonna pass out. Standard for first-timers.
On topic, positivity is great when everyone knows what's up. It's really too bad some people enjoy being unpleasant.

lordy. you sound like me when i took acid for the first time. i miss it in a way. but honestly every intoxicant is just that. toxic. if you can be stoked w/o anything then it's amazing. that's the tip i'm on these days. i will tell you this, that there will be the times when, even knowing this, life will get you down, it's nearly inevitable. but when you come out of the tunnel your positivity, compassion, and curiosity will be all the more for it.

chad:
did you really need some guy who rambles about being god, bill bellamy and other nonsense to convince you of all that?
lil b isn't half as deep as he imagines himself to be, but if these are the thoughts that he's inspiring, i'm all for it, i suppose.
