If this sound is dying, have you got any tips on what is going to be shit hot in 2014 btw? If what you say is true, then I really need to start thinking about changing my appearance, my dress sense, my record collection and also maybe switch up the crowd I go out with at the weekend... I wouldn't want to become a conformist, that would suck !

Go circlejerk with Route66 while listening to skrillex or borgore or skream or whatever you brostep kiddies like to listen to these days. And 2 posts in a row? Really? Your desperate defending of this genre exploiting goon is sad.

Dude, you are taking this shit too seriously.
How do you know he's a genre exploiting goon? Just cause he used to make noisy dubstep you can't jump to such wild conclusions.
I don't like the tune either, but it's no worse than a lot of the other 808 party anthems that people are churning out at the moment.

WOW Just came across this thread trying to find out if any of the Route 94 stuff came out.
At the end of the day I couldn't give a monkeys who they are an alias of or any of that shite. I like the tunes and I don't give a fuck if some internet music geek thinks its uncool!!
Anyone know if Tell You Why is coming out or any of the other tunes??

House music has been going on for over 30 years despite the "bandwagoners" and some hipster elitists who probably jumped into the scene himself after listening to some "classic" records says its dying because someone he doesn't personally like is starting to produce it. Typical dubstepforum member.

https://twitter.com/Route_94 < fuck this guy. never seen someone trying to hype their anonymity so much, don't say "stop guessing who i am" then retweet everyone who does... I think D1s new house project is better anyway.

what ever happened to "letting the music speak for itself"?
i think i side with some of the people in here saying that the tune is alright, but blends in with the rest of the 808-fueled bass sound being explored by so many right now.
but honestly, who cares who made it? maybe consider for a second that dream got embarrassed by whatever music he was making before, and wanted his new project to be completely detached from that to avoid people doing exactly what they're doing in this thread: pre-judging him.
like alex said. some of you lot chat bare shit.
interested in this new D1 house project, though. don't know anything about it. anyone have some audio?

i still really like this tune.
helps that i've also managed to stay away from any of the hype and i haven't got a fucking clue who dream actually is

It also doesn't make sense to try and hype up what your real identity is when you're some third rate brostep goon that no one knows in the first place. If tomorrow Skream took a break from counting his money and announced that "THIS JUST IN - ROUTE94 IS DREAM", the overwhelming response, by people who actually like music, would be: "who?". Maybe some 16 year old candy-raver in suburban America would have his mind blown, but that would pretty much be it.
His songs all are terrible as well.

I feel like this is the method for a lot of music these days.

yeah people who jump on the house bandwagon and then make some pretty weak tunes are a bit silly

Wow everyone going crazy in here. No idea who Route94 is, I figured he was someway related to Mensah or Redlight because that's who I've been hearing playing his tunes. Some of the hype is a bit much, and it's one of the most frustrating things in this scene (Mega-hyped unreleased tunes by unknown producers) but I can certify Fly For Life sounds absolutely monsterous in a club.

The vast majority of music I hear these days from hyped producers out of the UK is petty mediocre ,it seems like there is a rush to find the next big thing/person , but no one seems to really stand out , the last producer I can think of out of the UK that really shook things up was Joy O , ATM it seems more a case of "well djx is playing it and it was released on label Y so it must be great" , it's not.
