I think Skream is one of the more melodically gifted producers on the scene

i agree, skreamizm 3 was a bit disappointing compared to previous skreamizms. the only song on there i really like is 'chestboxing'. imo, 'make me' is an abosolutely boring tune.

^^ to me `make me` is like a deeper track than a lot of people give it credit for. it`s almost like skream made it so the first half is just soso and kinda repetitive then the 2nd drop just KILLS it, makes you bounce off walls and shit, thereby `making you` dance. the first half is a call to arms, the second is just arms out.

+1 i jumped on skreamism 3 as soon as i had a chance, just for "lose control".

i have to add that there are plenty of dubstep tunes that i think are overrated, but these are mostly subjective opinions. for that reason i don't find it particularly necessary to go blabbing all over how weak i think they are. what sense does that make?

unless you have a decent, well-reasoned argument (i.e. a little more than "it's just drums and a snare" or "i just don't like it") why you think the tunes are weak, best to just let it lie and don't buy (or sell what you have) the tunes ya don't like.

i just don't see the point of slagging anyone, unless you have something to actually say. and this is not a matter of fangirl apologetics, either. just sick of people clogging up the intertubes with criticism when they don't really have anything constructive or interesting to say.
I take you're point and agree with it, but sometimes it just feels good. Cathartic even.
well, i suppose there's always that.

this guy puts out tune after tune after tune and i have nothing but 200 unfinished loops on my harddrive. so shouldn't i be the one moaning? ;)

hey now....

I am by no means going to let you lump me in with anyone, anywhere (us, uk, northern europe, etc...)

this music is universal

I have to say...

Skream is still one of my favorite producers.

the thread starter is out of his tree

Apparently some people who listen to Dubstep too loud gets the grammar and spelling part of their brain knocked right out of them! Haha

This forum was good for a laugh. And come on, Skream is one sick producer. People/Labels bump his tunes all the time because there's something to them :D

nattyphysicist wrote:Skream is no good because I want to play other people's tracks. I often have to hold back just playing an entire set of Skream. So he needs to stop being BIG and let some of the other producers get played.

The other bad thing is that Skream lives in London as opposed to Waterloo.

This guy sucks!
i agree. i also dislike skream because of the geographical location of his house.

Yeah Garage came from the US your right, wasn’t UK garage though was it. Two totally different genres of music. Pointless argument as it is tit for tat. Drum and Bass, UK Garage, Dubstep = Uk, All descended to some extent from hardcore of course errrr UK which descended from northern soul errrrr mostly US soul records played faster than they were meant to be played. Tit for Tat :!:

Each side of the pond has been responsible for most of the popular/dance music movements of the last 70 odd years.

Pointless argument that would be more at home on DOA, my rant is done.

Skream is a bad man - especially feeling his remix of the Klaxons track Not Over Yet. Big on a system :!:

I totally disagree with the author of this topic even if my english is much worth that his 'cause I was born in U.K.Raine but not in U.K.
But I understand what he feels in some way especially when I hear so many fat dubplates by Skream in different radioshows and those that all you guys can hear on the events and they are so fucking kooool  and they sounds much better that those on Skreamizm 3 which is not that good that first two IMHO.
So the only one problem I can see is that dubsteppa feels jealousy about having Skreamizm 3 instead of all those wicked tunes that even probably will not be released :)
But Skream is certainly the BIGGEST dubstep producer and my Skreamizm 1 was just dispatched from redeye today
And yeah I do have Skeamizm 3 as well :)

PS correction of my English in this reply is very appreciated :james:
