some huge tunes on there, but 'Eyes White Open' featuring Rihanna is by far the weakest kenzo tune i've ever heard. proves to me that you shouldn't mess with the main stream shit. and i even rate rihanna to a certain extend. i had confidence that he would do something decent with that tune though.

edit: just noticed that the tune actually features Rhianna Kenny and not Rihanna, like that other thread about his album tour suggested. i was wondering about the sound of her voice anyways. kinda makes my statement about main stream and dubstep void, but it remains still the weakest kenzo tune for me.

The dBridge remix of that tune is stupidly strong though.

Can't really listen to that tune.

One of Distance's weakest tunes imo. Photek remix is large though.

the vocals on "falling" are soooo annoying. for me, very few people succeed in using female vocals in dubstep or dnb tunes without making it sound too poppy and cheesy. amit and rani are a good example of how it's done. kryptic minds and alys be are hit and miss for me; "can't sleep" is borderline cheesy, but "time flies" is annoying. same goes for truth and yayne. dbridge did a good job on that remix above. not trying to be a dick here, but for me very few tunes featuring females on vocals (or maybe vocals in general) manage to maintain that dark vibe and sound classy instead of 'trendy'.

I listened to a dj set on soundcloud and the dude who made it had obviously downloaded the leaked version or had a promo and played that no man's land with footsie, the vocal is sick, so keen for this.

I like it, I think falling definitely maintains the dark vibe but obviously delves a little further than usual into the world of pop. music video is sick too :)

can't sleep is a little more of a swing and a miss for me

Got to be honest I love female vocals on dubstep tunes, Can't Sleep is probably my favourite Kryptic Minds tune (that or Wondering Why, which also features female vocals lol). When they're done well they sound amazing. Eyes Wide Open isn't really the best example though, it's alright but could have been a lot better, dBridge remix is wicked though. Everything else I've heard from the Kenzo album is sick.

Distance's Blind Spot Remix for Submotion Orchestra is miles better than Falling both in production terms and use of the vocal imo.

I thought the vocals on the tune Can't Sleep were sick but didnt fit as well on some of the other album tracks

Also:

Icicle - Breathing Again?
VIVEK - Asteroids vocal?

but yeah that Kenzo tune is wack

The Fix - Human Love (J:Kenzo Remix)

serious vocal tune :U: :U: :U:

actually really looking forward to the female vocal track, because i read long time ago after the remix of her albums track they were going to work together for his album.. and that remix is up there with my favourites right now, has been ever since i first heard in on anti-social back in march
