Had a summer job labouring when I was younger and I thought it was the tits, met some jokes people (except for the aptly named GBH John), learnt some useful skills, got way fitter and stronger during it and it was good character building shit having to push yourself to do some tough manual work. I'm doing an office job now which I'm probably going to do for another year and then fully intend to learn a trade or something and get into a construction/trades job asap. Try and embrace the positive side of it man

can't see labouring for wages again unless I have to
wouldn't mind if it was digging holes and building stuff
