Not too excited 'bout their dnb but then I rarely am at big festivals. It's mostly... wifebeater, baseball sneaker and fashionable oversized cap dnb (HOW DO PEOPLE DANCE IN THOSE THINGS THAT'S UNEXPLAINABLE HOW). That's the VIBE anyway. Dnb producers are too adaptable in my experience. You can book BSE at a hardcore/darkstep night and they'll play rough, but when they're in the company of dancefloor they'll do that.

Shouldn't have turned the dubstep allnighter into a dubstep/brostep thing either.

So is this a particularly gloomy, miserable festival then? :6:

Might go on the techno day, looks pretty decent. Should've put shed on there too though instead of, well, anyone else except Dave Clarke.

Word, that's decent as hell. A line-up like that is more than you can ask from most huge alterna-pop festivals, but when that 'roots of dubstep' thang leaked I did get a lil' excited and with the addition of Digital Mystikz it seemed to be a real thing.

They's announcing 40 more names today. The last ones I think. Like all of their fans are screaming for A Tribe Called Quest and they'll be at another festival around that time.

Edit: I knew I shouldn't buy into the hype.
Sub Focus live / LFO live / Pendulum dj set & Verse / Jackson & His Computer Band / SCNTST / Julian Jeweil / Roses Gabor / Keys N Krates / Surfing Leons & Miss Eaves / Issa Maïga / Marvin Horsch / BunZer0 / DJ Guv / Louisahhh!!! / Carbon Airways / Taös / The Joy Formidable / Electric Electric / Alek & Les Japonaises / The Experimental Tropic Blues Band presents The Belgians / Brutality Will Prevail / The Black Heart Rebellion / Deepshow / Burning Time / J.D. Circo / Scylla / Pitcho / Coely / Antwerp Gipsy-Ska Orkestra / La Chiva Gantiva / Yew / Rohan Lee and Asham Band / Wild Boar & Bull Brass Band / Antoine Hénaut / STUFF. / Les R'tardataires / Prince Allah, Sylford Walker & Asham Band / Bush Chemists feat. Culture Freeman, King General, Danny Red & S'Kaya / Stand High Patrol feat. Pupa Jim / Aba Shanti I
Mehhhhhhh.

ELECTRIC ELECTRIC
got me spastic. those 40 names were awesome simply for the fact electric electric was one of them. they are one of the most intense live bands i've ever witnessed, their drummer is on fire

I share Genevieve's sentiment about the last batch of names. Good to see Bunzer0 on the Dubstep stage though, makes all the sense in the world!!

All in all a good line-up imho. Missing a few things but they did a pretty good effort.

Yeah no disrespect for BunZer0 or hatin on some of the other names, but as a whole, the last names didn't really impress. But it's a good fest overal

Couldn't get any time off from work.

But I got tickets for Friday & Saturday. Leaving straight from work near Brussels at 15.30u hoping to be there and settled in time for Darkstar. Then pretty much entire night La Petite Maison. Old school Dubstep the next day and back to La Petite Maison. Chill on sunday, leave in the later afternoon and back to work at 7am on Monday.

Going to be heavy days!
