maybe because it's not the point of the fred.

most dj's on cd's/lappy's use wav's anyway. no-ones that much of an audiophile in a dance to play spot the difference. grow up.

Cookie monsta doesn't cut. Neither does Crises.

J:Kenzo has just started cutting (again) and moving away from CD back to dubplates though.

Yes, Mala and Vivek still cut. Also, Brunks still cuts and always has.

Lurka's the only one with any damn sense in this entire thread

^yh course. do what u want @ the complete deadout nights u go to bro.

/

when yunx was beat juggling loefah's midnight on both vinyl and cd @ system.
the way all us 'retards' with our 'shot ears' in the dance were going nuts and didn't even care about the format.

all the 'retards' that went nuts and enjoyed themselves instead of paying attention to what decks yunx was using <<<<<
absolute 'retards'.

minor though, big up the stare at the dj all night and judge his format crew.
don't comment on audio in a club if you don't know what you're on about plz. thnxs.

fully agree. you can literally feel the difference assuming the music is being played on a decent system

lol u sound mad tho
need 2 settle down about formats

the sound suits certain forms of music better imo, which is y i assume djs use it
& y i use it

and yes you can tell the difference i refuse to argue that

proper selectors that enjoy their music on any format >> selectors who boast about what they play on constantly.

So is it wrong that I have more respect for DJs who stick to wax?
(I agree that people that go on and on about using vinyl is annoying but i do think format is important, people who use controllers are jokers imo)

No I don't think so, in the same way that some people may have more respect for labels that release vinyl.

But would you rather see a DJ clang their way through a vinyl set or someone play a slick/well mixed set on a different format?
I do see your point mate, not necessarily trying to be argumentative. I'd rather see a good clangless set but sometimes the errors in vinyl mixing are what make it special, and when people use auto-sync mixes seem plastic and clinical.
Yeah I think the difference is that it's easier to have a plastic/clinical sounding mix on a more naturally precise digital format.

I will be doing this in 2013 for a few choice beats that have got good feedback.
