I doubt I will ever buy one. Will probably switch to playstation for next gen.

Or see what Nintendo's next gimpy console will turn out to be. Probably some fucking stupid giant screen where you can buy 6 seperate consoles and stick them all together to make a giant cube that you can stand inside of while you are surrounded by a 3d gaming world to relive the amazing adventures of doctor brainshit's lame ghosty mystery zelda fucks a pokemon adventure.

Bump. XB1 is officially ass and anyone who still wants to buy one after learning this new information should be ashamed.
I don't really give a shit about these details. Retailers are essentially selling the same game over and over at near retail prices these days with the second-hand market - and publishers don't see cent one. M$ were pressured to address the issue and they've tried to develop a system where whatever happens, you can only place your scorn on the publishers.

I'm more concerned about the vast amount of data M$ can collect from me (including some potential big brother type shit with always on kinect) and double-dipping by reselling it to advertisers.
+1 to this.

PC GAMERS STAND UNITED

(if I'm buying a console it'll be a ps4, just because they FINALLY announced The Last Guardian at E3. Let's just hope it doesn't have the same fate as most interrupted-development games)

I've heard large amounts of bad rumours about it..

But I don't care because I'll probably never buy a console ever again

i'm all about dropping 600 bones on a box of electronics so that i'm locked in to giving the manufacturer money until it becomes obsolete, all the while allowing them to record my voice and movements at all times

Despite all this, I guarantee you it outsells the ps4, in the US at least..

I can see why the 360 did well. The ps3 was too expensive, came out too long after and generally performed worse for multiplatform games.

I can't see a single reason to buy this new xbox though unless Sony make all the same mistakes again..
