THE search to find the true identity of Mercury Music Prize nominee BURIAL has finally ended.
On Monday I challenged readers to find out the identity of the mystery dubstep producer.
But yesterday the search was called off when WILL BEVAN from South London owned up on his MySpace page — and posted a photo.

He said: “For a while there’s been talk about who I am. I wanted to be unknown because I want it to be about tunes.
"But the unknown thing has become an issue. My name’s Will Bevan, I’m from South London, I’m keeping my head down and finishing my next album.”
Fair play, Will.
HOT CHIP’s JOE GODDARD was right all along when he said Bevan was in the year above him at secondary school.
Not so well done to Rhys Sutheran, Stacey McDonald, Thomas Docking and some moron hiding behind the email address info@plexlondon.com.
If it was that obvious, why are so many people still convinced this is actually an elaborate hoax based on a Herefordshire undertaker?
Or that the real identity of Burial is Luke Warren, aka DubLuke, also from South London?
I hadn’t heard of Burial before his nomination. I’ve now listened to him and love his stuff.
Isn’t that the point of music?
Not according to all the dubstep fans who have emailed crying about their music being stolen from them.
