I'm pretty sure you would only get feedback if you ran the mic while playing loud. And a lot of people using the mic don't really turn that up too loud either. Half the time I can't understand thristian.

when they talk on the mic it usually does feedback haha
it would be the same with monitors though, all monitors do is send the tunes into the booth just has a different output so the dj can alter it. WHen i went boiler room though it wernt that loud anyway.
and Grimes was so shit lol
Nina was looking HOT tho!

This is one of my favourites:
If you've ever caught DVS1 in a club then you'll know that he really is one of the finest techno DJs around. If you're unfortunate enough to have never experienced that, then get to know RIGHT NOW!
They couldn't be more right. Absolutely groovin'.
Note the immediate feedback from Thristian ha.
Also, if you didn't get to see Romare's set, or don't even know who Romare is check out his Live Boiler Room set:
Great visuals to go with it as well. Quite the delight.

thx travesty! really enjoyed that dvs1 and yes I hadn't heard his music prior to this. Not a big techno fan but him, Nina & Ben Klock really made an impact.

boiler room's really a hit or miss these days. i feel like they've stretched it out too much, inviting shit acts a lot of the times..
I agree, they're doing a little bit too much... And not that it makes any difference, you watch the one you like.. But it loses some charm!
