Agree, the mastering on that release is bad.
Mastering on Marduk is 10/10 though, sounds large.
The low end is very quiet on my copy, even when I crank it to the max it's still not enough.

Are you sure its not like Ransom where the sub is so low it doesnt really register on monitors? i used to do the exact same thing on that tune thinking the mix was sketchy but then i heard it on a rig and it all made sense.

no, the plate has virtually no bass. i had to crank up the bass fully to the right on a club rig to get barely any pressure
i downloaded the rip, boosted the sub with eq and play that instead :/

That's weird, mine sounds great.
Mastering on Don't Get It Twisted 1 EP is shameful though

we're still on about Marduk? my copy sounds like a total beast and I doubt they used different mothers for the pressing...

Might be the case then since I have only ever played my copy at home.

I think that's where we are getting confused, I was talking about Marduk sounding good! I agree the pressing for Haymaker is pretty poor.

Ahhh that's big. You know, you people from the UK (even the US, not even mentioning Belgium/Netherlands etc etc) are spoilt with venues and the scene is quite big in these parts of the world, but I can assure you that where I live, when I drop Too Much Chat in a set (and believe me I will ), there'll be lots of people not knowing the tune and possibly going apeshit over it!

mark pritchard has a stack of killer mala dubplates including 2muchchat that i would sometimes be luckily enough to hear.. doesn't seem to play shows around sydney as regularly at the moment tho, just the headliner type events

top notch release. coral reef is definately one of coki's better new tunes.
