Shame it got so many anonymous complaints to admin TBH. Was a good thread with some genuinely interesting discussion going on, if slightly vitriolic toward the end.

It had to do with those 'dont be that guy' posters, dudes said women need to also take responsibility, women got heated and also made good points.

I think anyways.

Basically it was a thread about an anti-anti-rape poster (these posters had gone up about rape and some blokes had decided it was a bit much/tarred all men with the same brush so they made their own poster saying, essentially, some women should have a bit more accountability and not get shit-faced to the point where they are unable to say no/put up a fight etc.) and the general consensus of the snh was that yes the anti-anti-rape poster raised a valid point.
Tornado comes in spouting gash about feminism and how he'd studied 'woman studies' or some shit at uni and everyone, in the nicest possible way iirc, tore him down.
His wife comes in and posts saying the most sexist derogatory things to the people disagreeing with her beloved hubby completely undermining their moral stance and giving equal rights a bad name in the process.
She got called out on that but apparently 'the oppressor can not be made victim of sexism/racism etc by the oppressed', you know, what with the patriarchy and all.
Shit got salty.
Thread got locked.

There was a little follow-up back and forth between bela and me in the thread about Nina Kraviz vs Seth Troxler, I think that same week. It was more civil this time, but more one-sided, and it died quickly.

There wasn't much back and forth there, maybe it needs a bump.
