we over 500 nowww
rolling the rays, will do the same to the phillies, dbacks & mets
THEN July 7th 4 GAME SHOWDOWN cards/bucs & control of the #1 wild card spot & 2nd place in the division
kick around the reds after that & looking VERY GOOD heading into the all star break

that feel when you realize your club has to play .600 baseball to get a chance at a wildcard they held with a 10 game advantage 2 weeks ago. Ffs.. congrats on the pirates not shitting the bed must be sick.

thank you for this. I've been keeping up with the baseball during my time here, been to a few games too. i've no idea what they're on about half the time in commentary but it's good to watch/listen to, better than the shorter forms of cricket.

Oh yea either volquez or liriano where he just swung his arm around and caught it
awesome story on john holdzkom whos from new zealand, got drafted by both the mariners & mets, blew thru $200,000, played in the independent leagues a few months ago for $150 a week, throws just 2 pitches & is the only guy in the big leagues with a palm ball
also the pirates signed him just in time for the playoffs

Neat! They say he was trying to emulate Trevor Hoffman (his fav player) but he didnt even throw a palm ball lol, i wonder if that was more of an influence the kiwi-cricket-palmball link

The way the Giants went against them these last two games the wildcard playoff should be easy pickings for the Pirates.
