i guess i correlate my age with my love for dnb, i was raving to it during its golden years. most often, when i talk to a younger group of electronic music fans in general, they tell me similar things like what you guys were mentioning, genres of music that are no faster than 140. if im not mistaken, a lot of people who post on here are pretty young, if i remember. minus nowaysj. he old. lol.m8son wrote:haha what's that got to do with anything?
Did anyone do a single genre mix? I have hardcore in my mix for what it's worth.OGLemon wrote:Did anyone do a hardcore mix?
Dnb is still something the kids listen to, but DSF isn't the right forum for that. There's dnb fans on here, but most people will naturally be more attracted to slower stuff.esfandyar wrote:i guess i correlate my age with my love for dnb, i was raving to it during its golden years. most often, when i talk to a younger group of electronic music fans in general, they tell me similar things like what you guys were mentioning, genres of music that are no faster than 140. if im not mistaken, a lot of people who post on here are pretty young, if i remember. minus nowaysj. he old. lol.m8son wrote:haha what's that got to do with anything?
Think OGLemon meant hardcore as in gabber/industrial hardcore/terror, not proto-jungle stuff.Riddles wrote:I had some jungle in there, no hardcore tho.
