Hologram citizens take to the streets of Spain in virtual protests

A group called Hologramas Por La Libertad (
Holograms for Freedom) has responded to a new “Gag” law (Citizen Safety Law) that will go into effect in Spain.
The law, set to go in effect on July 1, will prohibit citizens from demonstrating or assembling in public places without risking a fine. In order to make a statement, citizens have created the Holograms for Freedom organization which can create virtual protest on the streets without being physically present, proving that protests will not stop just because of a new law.
Anyone can take part in the demonstrations by visiting the Holograms for Freedom website. On the website you can write a message, record your voice or upload a photo and transform into a protesting hologram.
According to the
International Business Times, the hologram protests that took place over the weekend lasted about an hour and contained over 2,000 virtual images in order to dispute the new law.
Learn more by visiting
Holograms for Freedom.

dunno, my recent trip to lisboa was my first time in the mediterranean and just got a craving for more. read about madrid on the traveler's section on the newspaper. what do u recommend in spain as a spanish person yourself? a lot of people go to barcelona guess that's why I wanna avoid that. then I heard andalucia has a lot of nice towns and locations

lisboa is not mediterranean mate (but i know what you mean

) Andalucia is the best tbh, zone of basque country, santander and asturias at the north is pretty nice too and is where you eat better. For me the two best cities are Granada and Seville so i would recommend you two different options:
1.Going to Granada, amazing arab city with the most beautiful palace in Spain (la Alhambra) plus a ridiculously cheap city full of students and some good music sometimes.

And then move to the zone of cabo de gata in Almeria, that is an amazing natural park with an unique nature with amazing beaches and deserts (is where clint eastwood westerns, indiana jones and lot of famous films were filmed) with lot of beautiful small villages, amazing food too

2. Going to Seville, you have a lot to see here, lot of arabic influence too and a massive historic center, very good mood in the streets and nice places to drink/smoke

then i would recommend doing a tour around the villages of Cadiz (my favorite province from spain) has lot of mountains, beautiful white house style villages and the best beaches of spain

Grenada was cool, there was a definite vibe there. I didn't have enough time to figure it out, I was in and out. I did get hells of lost there, and I also think I found a really quality gallery.
Right below that tower, a gypsy tried one of those things, like throwing a baby at you

for the life of me, I can't remember what she did, I just remember giving her this smile like you're not getting me, and she dropped the routine and gave me a hilarious smile.

Dude, I was in Cadiz for a day, it was overcast and drizzly, and I thought the town was shit. The ocean was rough and turgid, I thought it was the shittiest place in Spain. From these photos, it looks amazing. Glad you corrected my perception.

No that pic is from seville
And by cadiz i dont mean the city but the zone around it, what u americunts call a state, same as almeria, the city isnt great but the nature ad the villages around it are incredible.
The beaches in the zone of el palmar, caños de meca, zahara and bolonia are my fav

Lo sé, puto.
You may not have heard of this in your primitive land, but there are these things called paragraphs. They denote a break in thought, or the introduction of a new thought. Usually established by a line break and/or an indent.
