Sensible course of action is not buying a ticket if you don't intend to go to the night.

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao's fight sold out within minutes and tickets immediately appeared on websites for as much as £94,000 ($141,000). Only 1,000 tickets were made available to the public for the fight on 2 May at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
The remaining 15,500 seats will go to fighters, sponsors and promoters.
The cheapest ticket for the bout cost £1,000 ($1,500), rising to about £5,000 ($7,500).

Preferably while complaining about how dubstep used to be 'pure' and 'not about the money'
then proceed to go to work and refuse any wage because people shouldn't get paid for their work
apparently

I thought 30 quid was too much but I guess my perspective is different since I've never been to DMZ or any British dubstep night as a matter of fact. Considering the other costs I'll have to cover these 10 pounds don't really make a difference.
Speaking of the line-up. Really hoping for Goth-Trad and Joe Nice!

I assume its £30 due to costs not for the pure sake of ripping people off. Should be a ridiculous lineup.
Unless you're walking there and gunna be sober all night an extra £10 that will no doubt go to all the DJs involved isn't a problem in the grand scheme of things. In LDN thats like 2 beers.. in a night where most people will consume way more than 2.
Warehouse Project in Manchester is about £30 a ticket inc all the booking fees and shit and that turned out to be the cheapest part of my night every single time. Booze beforehand, travel and drink inside was always more than £30. At least some of that money goes to the people you're actually going to see.

your on about two completely separate things here, vinyl resale verses ticket prices.

Last DMZ birthday at Mass:
Ill be suprised if you get a better line up than that for 30£

I would've thought that most of the DJs they could be imagined to book for the night would make it a point to turn up for the night or pass through anyway. Plus mates rates if not free. So £30 seems a bit steep. I'm sure they'll have loads on the people on the line-up and more will jump on just coz, so it might run the risk of them actually having too many people playing b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b2b for like 15 minutes each.
I'd guess the £30 might be more to cover the 300+ people who'll be on the guestlist

That's not uncommon for boxing.
