He played one just before (or after?) Shake Out Your Demons which had an epic breakdown and took an age to drop again - like the break in Neverland but with strings, bongos and a 2 minute hands-in-the-air build up. Astonishing. One tune literally got 4 or 5 rewinds, but it was warranted. Thought him and Coki worked well together.
Kode9 also heavy, hearind Find My Way and Quarta 330 stuff on that rig was the nuts.
Too many rewinds across the board though!
yeah every dj did bring his own vibe - kept the night well interesting - was knackered so didnt dance to much so it was all about chilling down at the barriers soaking up the energy radiating out of the djs down front, was well exciting to watch all the djs n mc's put on a show
yeah totaly mala was mindblowing n him n coki worked together perfectly - enjoyed the digital mystikz bit better this exodus - your spot on about them marching rythems. yeah the track mala dropped that got 4 pull ups was dirty, pure throbing bass n there was 1 @ the end of there set last mala tune i think had the same driving 4 x 4 kick pattern that bury da boy has
yeah kode 9 was a good 1 - glad he dropped lodsa hyperdub stuff like find my way. quarta 330 stuff sounded mental on the iration system so did the soul jizz stuff like stung n magnetic city was totaly blown away when he mixed the the quarta remix of 9 samurai into his original version - shame he didnt kain lodsa burial but hey mustnt grumble
d1's opening set was ideal 2 realy upbeat tracks to get the dance floor moving. dont know what the 1st track youngsta played but it was filthy, sounded like cyrus, what a set, looked like he was trying to shag the mixer the way he was dancing - go youngsta ! n chef at the end

was that bloodthirst he played ?

The one with strings before demons was stand by Quest.
Brilliant night - will definitely go back again. Weighty system, good selections and good vibes. Shame I missed last couple of sets though.

Kode 9 destroyed the dance with those Quarta 330 tunes. First time i heard them i thought he had lost the plot. But after hearing them on Iration im converted, bloody brilliant.
Also Kode 9 played the best intro of the night, some Saxon sound business if i remember rightly

was rediculously large. Just the 5 hour journey home today put anything down haha. Loved hatch b2b benga and mala's set was sick. Skream got it going standardly, also proper impressed with youngsta and D1 opening things in style, absolutley rinsing dance. Big up leeds crew
