For Dubstep I've tried it at 69/70 and 138/140 and generally go for the lata, but I am gonna experiment with 280 for jokes!

I've just started producing dubstep. I thought that the bpm was about 140-150. I realize hip hop is around 70-80. Drum and bass which I usually produce is around 175-185.
I hope I am correct about the bpm of dubstep, it seems to flow nicely at that bpm. It's a little more tricky for me with the bass, snare, and hats since I'm used to a faster sound overall.
One question remains, is that I'm used to working with a 4/4 rhythm. Is this the same with dubstep?
Thanks in advance.
