fucking buttscratcher. tuneage.
while i understand the philosophic debate of both sides of the trading/pirating debate... you have to respect the unstated rules of the game. Respecting all the nuances down the finest detail is what keeps things balanced and sorted.
Some dj's want their sets released... other don't. You can argue promotion is promotion... but to me this whole thing is a win-win situation. Caspa's set is ridiculous and you know this. Superisk and Timid's set are equally invasive and you probably DO NOT know this. So Caspa not releasing his set for download is actually beneficial to those who did not attend and to the dj's that did not reach you specifically YET. You can only imagine how the night went after that... and you've got enough downloaded material to fantasize.
I actually stand by the fact that the 10-12:30 slots are where some weird magic happens. Tim and Chris got heads out early in the club and always do. Thats a feat in and of itself. People who are ready to man up for 4 hours of bass exploration.
When Caspa or any other headliner comes to your town... and they most likely will... you can check them for yourself. Risk, Phaded, Timid, Shiva, and etcera that have represented at BGB... it may be awhile. And they represent a very interesting perspective on dubstep. And guess what... you have the ability to check it out on mp3.
Trust that the headliners wreck it and will continue to.
Respect the ecosystem, yea?
