You should play your acetates as much as you can to keep them sounding fresh ;)

A little rhyme to remember:
"If it's got a big drop
Rewind it full stop

If the crowd's full of pricks
Get on with the mix"
:D
Not really, though. Do whatever you want.

Ha I like that rhyme a lot,

This is something I have actually practised in my room, seriously

It feels so wrong but the crowd appreciate it when you can do some smooth rewinds and get that track started as quick as poss :)

just press the 'tornado wheelie dealie' button on virtual dj accompanied by an N-Type soundboard bonanza

http://www.hyperblazing.co.uk/SB/NTYPEsoundboardV1.swf

This gives me, and the crowd, the illusion that iam RINSE.FM

Rewinds don't make any sense. Music should go forwards!

I've seen footage where Mala rewinds Eyez 3 times at Outlook festival. Would have been sweeeeeet if Pokes didn't ruin it by trying to 'sing' the synth.

My mate and I were playing a vinyl set out on saturday, he switched onto cdjs to drop a few of his own beats, I ran from the crowd into the booth to wheel it back as a big one dropped, but not being a CDJ user didn't realise it had to be in 'vinyl' mode to do a normal wheel and as a result ended up just skipping through the tracks on his cd real quick
