OK..
This was fucking RIDICULOUS.
Doctor Octagon was awesome, played lots of his classics. Funny that he was never in the spotlight, his hypeman was.
Bomb Squad started off with some reggae and played dubstep for more than an hour. Played some Clouds and I'm pretty sure the rest of was their own stuff that was absolutely sick. Some deep DEEP bassy vibes that reminded me of Distance. I was skanking around like a madman and my mates who had never heard dubstep were absolutely feeling it too. And their last tune was Kromestar's Attention. They were also so fun to watch, bouncing around and having so much fun.
Public Enemy were simply amazing. Played the entire It Takes A Nation Of Millions and a few others numbers and blew pretty much everyone away. Chuck D and Flavor Flav had the most fun of everyone in the building by the looks of it. I also liked how they paid their respect to Terminator X through the whole show, they obviously miss him.
Blah, I'm a poor reviewer. I just can't wait to see Bomb Squad and all the rest tomorrow. Gonna be sick.

they were so into it weren't they - haven't seen a crowd that up for it in a while either! a LOT of hands in the air. at one point chuck d said "London is the centre of the WORLD for hip hop!", which was nice, if slightly debatable
flav walked past me at one point during bomb squad with a coterie of girls hanging off his arm haha

It was all good.
The stacks down there aren't as good as upstairs tho.
there was loads of distortion at times.
bomb squad was some funky cdj looping madness.
the bug played some crazy dubbed-out industrial sounds.
loef and skreams' set was pure niceness and plastician and oneman played out to a select crowd.
hopefully Ashes will be putting some photos up soon.
