Weird, I thought that this espresso strength was a general misconception. I got the exact opposite, actually: I get all fucked up if I drink normal/french/american/whatever coffee. Don't get me started on the coffee at work, that's a category of its own.

espresso per serving (which they're pretty strict about) has half the caffeine of drip coffee. so unless you're drinking a whole cup of espresso, then you're not getting more caffeine. i think espresso tastes like bitter shit tbh. way too much acid in it for my liking.

also, darker roasts contain less caffeine as well since a lot of chemicals are roasted out of the bean, so unless you're drinking it solely for taste go for a light breakfast roast or a blend for more caffeine. 8)

coffee is the best ever. though my teeth are stained and i've damned near developed an anxiety disorder from drinking so much, i don't know where i'd be with out it.

whoever said coffee and tea were mutually exclusive?

it's all about the time and the place. both are equally badass.

On the daily? Five cups a day of French roast from the local roastery, black (because why would you want to cut your drugs?).

But all coffee roads lead to Rome imo.

This drink, at this cafe.

Cappuccino at Tazza D'Oro in Rome, across from the Pantheon.

Best coffee experience I ever had.
