i don't quite get what you think you're defending? all this stems from the thread title which the poster probably didn't put a lot of thought into and didn't realise it would end up in these kinds of ridiculous responses

i'm all for equal oppurtunities for women but militant feminism (which thankfully seems to mostly belong to an older generation and fading out) does nothing to further the cause, in fact it does the exact opposite. fighting against an oppressor which in this case doesn't exist (but of course unfortunately it still does in other areas) and acting like a victim when you aren't one isn't exactly helping the feminist cause
