oh for-flying-fucks-sake. I can't believe they even exist, let alone get into positions of power
So glad I live in a predominantly secular country, I cannot imagine how depressing and downright frightening it must be to live amongst these fucking clowns.

thats my whole thing, really. obv neither of them can do what they promise. and if they could: why would it matter what gender they are? equality is equality.
surely there's no reason to think that obama has a misogynist agenda?
1. I never said Obama would fix everything. I don't really believe he's gonna do a damned thing in office. Sorry---thats my opinion.
2. I never said Hilary would end sexism. LOL Thats a tall order for one person. That's going to take several generations to really fix. And by the regular response of denial of its existence, I'm quite sure we have a lot farther to go in terms of sexism than in terms of racism. Hehehehe. Half of me is rejoicing. The other half is buried in a tissue.
3. Its always interesting when people "get" to be equal. I love hearing that argument, esp in the South, when I'm repeatedly told that I'm American first and everything else second. The fact of that statement is that when we're all American, I still live as a black woman. So we can all get around a fire and say we're all American. But I don't know how many men walk with the fear of being sexually assaulted on a daily basis. And I don't know how many other Americans get regularly told how well they speak. So yeah. Equality doesn't necessarily exist in this country. And insisting that there are no issues is just as insulting as pandering to them blatantly like the Republicans did, which is why the Dems earned my ire with this.
Just my opinion. I'm jaded and bitter and have been in the South too long--thats true. But I'm getting out soon. Lets see if things really are different on the outside.

Bi-partisan panel
finds Sarah Palin abused her power as governor.
From the AP:
"Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper, the chief investigator of an Alaska legislative panel concluded Friday."
The Branchflower Report wrote:For the reasons explained in section IV of this report, I find that Governor Sarah Palin abused her power by violating Alaska Statute 39.52.110(a) of the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.
