Easy all good to see a wickd response to the kent dubstep idea.
We are in the inital stages of promoting a dubstep night in chatham.
I cannot tell you the location until it is confirmed however we are in talks with Mary-Ann Hobbs regarding headlining the night.
We will be looking for other DJs on the night so if you are interested please hit me up with a mix. We are also looking into a second sound system so if you have any info please let me know.
The event should be in Feb 09 giving a lot of time for promotion etc
Peace

yo im from kent there are regular dubstep nites in cantebrury almost every week u just got to know where to go
theres a night called 'simmer down' which is all dubstep, dub and a lil bit of breaks, usually held at the foundry every 2nd weekend of every month
another night called 'Prod.' which alternates bewtween the foundry and alberrys plays the best in electronic music, some glitchy dub, bit of funky, dubstep, electro and minimal tech think this night is twice a month
also check for the night 'Native', not sure wots happeneing with it right now but thats generally a good party and has lots of dubstep goodness, mostly at the whitstable brewery bar (not to b confused with the brewery tavern in canterbury)
the main dubstep dj and producer from the area, although now living in london, is called SENSE OR SENSEI LA RUDE, he has a ridiculous range of beats from the jump up to more mellow shit and u can generally be sure of a good night if he's playing. he plays at all of the events above. others to check are lipsis, skulldubbery and binman
if u like raves in the woods check 'good vibrations' which is on now n then tho generally promoted through word of mouth, also fresh bar in northgate sometimes plays dubstep, check for dj bad influence aka pete g down there most thurs/fri/sat nites
hoped this helped

out to everyone that reached dub n bass last night, was really good vibes inside, i left at about 10 as needed to get the train back, what was it like after that? bit too much drum and bass, not enough dubstep but was sick anyway.
