haven't been to a party outside of Germany this year, but there were quite a few good raves in the country.

top five:

1. Sub.Island @ Conne Island, Leipzig
hands down the best dubstep rave in Germany afaic (especially the one in September w/ Loefah & Coki - pure vibes!)

2. Dubstep Stage @ Fusion Festival, Lärz
big! (the Shackleton live set in one of the hangars was sick as well)

3. Sub:Stance @ Berghain, Berlin
nuff said

4. Bass Invadaz Stage @ Camp Tipsy Festival, near Berlin
nicest & messiest do-it-yourself-thing of the year

5. Freak Camp Session @ VCF, Berlin
2nd birthday and Summer Special were good

DMZ 3rd B-Day bashment!!

Youngsta b2b D1, deeeep
Pinch b2b Cyrus, deeeeper than deep
Quest b2b Silkie, :n:
others were simply great but those were the best for me!

But my best souvenir is Appleblim & Shackleton spinnin' 2000ish dancehall, old skool jungle in the little room, we were about 5 people in that room, me getting my knees up to my head with Skar, Pokes rewinded the last tune of the party, a deep jungle one with crazy snares. Appleblim,Pokes or Shackleton if you read this ( :D ) could you tell me what was that tune???

Big up DMZ, true dubbers!

best festival
