Yeah, easy peasy although got a few looks from some Doctor Martin wearers on the Tube for looking like someone with a job... I reckon you'll be ok. I'm still "working" and they just sent an e-mail round saying that Liverpool St is useable, but crowded and that London Bridge should be fine.

They say to avoid:

• Bank
• Monument
• Cannon Street
• Mansion House
• St. Paul's
• Blackfriars

Had to leave a reply saying "Yeah what a bunch of workshy stnuc, they should get a job and do some real graft, like posting on messageboards." Bearing in mind that this board is full of people who arent too fond of police, theres been alot of OB sympathisers on there.

Which is just what they want. The men on the street to think of all protesters as stinking hippies (which albeit until recently mostly have been) and never join in, cus then they have to take notice.
itk?

fair points, i don't see the reason for attacking a company you're effectively a shareholder in though

i don't think that trashing offices where average people work benefits anyone much either- just dilutes the message more.

john lewis got attacked last time. it gives the impression that the protestors don't know who to target and for what reason imo

creating incidents to discredit the protesters is standard procedure, but i have a feeling most of the people there are aware of things

Apart from you're too lazy and just posting on a message board about it instead?

right now this is what triggers my "conspirationist" instincts mostly:
Police plan to pen people indefinitely this eve. Slipped out with press card but otherwise it'll be a long wait for anyone inside #g20
A lull, again, but it is late now and people want to go home. Every exit line is a wall of riot police. #g20
