I think that was a good FWD but I can't really remember much past El-B. I've been reminded on Dissensus that I was shouting ''play some dubstep'' quite a lot in an ironic/leathered way so I've got to apologise to Kode in case it sounded serious.

El-B was good, as others have said I would have liked to see him play later. It's always weird seeing a warm up DJ playing huge tunes like Serious to a mostly empty dancefloor of faintly nodding people, it filled up nicely though. Blackdown and Dusk - Bullet A Go Fly RMX is so fucking tough, Silkie tune was heavy and in fact it all was good. Kode smashed it as I seem to remember, although of course I can't remember anything he played... but I was dancing a lot. Flying Lotus - I have no fucking clue because by this point I was more concerned with going blind and ranting in people's faces.

Biggup to all the people I saw - benjy, dubluke, pk, rekordah etc etc.

just seen that blackdown blogpost. turning around to see theo parrish, benji b and flying lotus having a chinwag was a bit of a WTF moment. it felt like half of my favourite djs and producers, past and present, were inside that basement last night.

fwd is without a doubt the most diverse club night in the capital right now.

Good lawd, FlyLo's and 9's sets are incredible.

This makes me even more hyped to see them later this month.

Does anyone have audio of Dusk and Blackdown's set?

is it?! thought it looked like him. his mixing was better than El-b's really.

keep remembering how good kode9's set was. rah.

corpsey - i think you told kode as he was leaving that it was you shouting 'play some dubstep' . he looked a bit confused. haha.

Fuck, I thought it was him! "I'm not worthy" etc.

Was a good night. Loved the El B set. Blackdown's set was STUNNING. Great to hear Soundclash on a big system, people seemed to go for it, and the mix into that Silkie tune was immense! Missed the Bass and Boyz refix unfortunately but I hear it went down well.

Kode was good, Loser and Move Down Low both sounded fab, moved the crowd. Couldn't hear all of him cos dancing one crutches isn't the one and was knackered after playing Britsol on Saturday.

My first FWD... four tunes played...

For me, that was a massive highlight. Singing the little 'murderer' bit as the tune began to myself made my night! Glad for the re-load as well, still can't get enough of that tune.

Yeah it's a goodie! Heard it on a big system for the first time on Saturday when I played it in Bristol, sounded strong, but only really felt it when I was in the crowd during Blackdown's set. That's one heavy tune, I was surprised!

It's out in a few months on Keysound.

Dear oh dear. I wonder if he was as confused as when I grabbed him by the shoulder and said ''KODE - I love you. But not in a sexual way''?

Fucking hell, I hope I wasn't shouting it every two seconds as I almost certainly was.

you were going on like Skibba and Shabba for about 15 minutes, you not remember that bit?

Whenever I start going on like Skiba and Shabba I black out and my eyes roll back in my head.

I usually have to go and smoke some crack in the bogs afterwards just to calm down. Funny that.

i wouldnt mind, but it was louder than the Plastic People system and that's no mean feat!

I thought I'd missed something good when I heard Blackdown & Dusk, El-B, Kode9 and Flying Lotus were all playing on one of the best club systems in the world, but I see now Corpsey was obviously the real spectacle....
