um, usually you should google your shit before you rock it...

and then when you find out Rusher is a old school jungle don who ran weekend rush fm, you shouldnt use it.

tbh - unless youve had tunes out there isnt much legal chance.

if you get a tune out n registered yourself as an artist with mcps and prs etc so that you are able to get roaylties from said release under that artist name. you will find that if the artist name is taken you wont be able to register the tracks/yourself as an artist as itll be on their database.

i found a band in usa called arctic sunrise but as they are a hairy rock band its a bit different they got no tracks out etc so at the minute im not too bothered - unless i go and attempt laptop battle usa of course

Yup, it's not hard to do. I was the only firky on the internet for years - now there's about 10 :(

Plus there's already a dnb DJ who's been using that name for years so you were never the first and you'll certainly won't be the last.

I REALLY doubt anyone will jack my name

ive had this problem too. fucking annoying really. Its not hard to do a quick check to see if there is another person using a name. I wouldnt mind if the person was doing a different genre but to choose the same name as another dubstep dj/producer is just stupid...
