My Prosonus Firebox does not work well with Vista. The drivers are unstable. My computer frezees 5 minutes into a session. I have to turn it off and then im good to go, but when I turn it off it does it again. I dont know who to hate...Im so confused...

It's a known issue, some have it, some don't. I will have to check my latency, maybe it's too low. I don't need it that low unless im recording vocals.

I like this post, i think i just solved my own problem. Just have to wait till i get home to try it.

I want windows 7, but who knows when the new drivers are coming out.

Does anyone know or does it even matter if Reason or any other DAW is multi-core compatible. My searches are much slower now then they were on my P3. :?:

microsoft should give all vista users a free copy of windows 7 or XP

along with a written apology

I know cubase is - but some VSTs don't support multicores which is just fucked imo..

Cubase5 is fast as hell on my dualcore

VST3's are also compatable with multiple cores

I have a few older VST's that work fine, no problemo
