such an amazing tune

the dubstep tune which had the most immediate impact on me was qawwali... i stopped everything, and just listened, and completely sank into it. then i replayed it, again and again. and i still love it as much as i did that first listen

Qawwali and the V.I.P are seriously deep emotional tunes. Love those beats.

Qawwali is the kind of beat that I think anyone can appreciate. :D

Absolute perfection.
Have to agree with you on that
Serious man, I could go on for hours, days even, just listing big tunes. We all could. Doesn't matter though, cos Mala made up my mind for me when he wrote Changes.

Head and shoulders above any other tune I've heard in a long time.
Is this the one with the child like voice sample saying something like "i love dub music...". Really feeling the ethereal melodies and vocals and the bumpy kick/bass on this one.
YES! :!:

Skream "Midnight Request Line". It's just sets the mood form the first note and then this hypnotic melody reveals itself little by little and before you know it you're lost in it :o

Distance - "Saints and Sinners"

this tune is really sublime. it's almost like the bass is talking, having a dialogue w/ the vocals.....far too underrated, imo

edit: Ok dammit..can't pick just one.

Digital Mystikz - "Give Jah Glory"

the part right after the second breakdown never ceases to give me chills.

Yeah I could say a Dubstep tune but I'm gonna say 'Move On Up' by Curtis Mayfield cause I have listened to that tune for time. Never get bored of it and it's picked me up on many occasions. That's my funeral tune right there;that's how I want to enter the dark. I'm not some morbid fucka who thinks about dying but the break down in the extended 12" version of that tune is the way I want my coffin to disappear out of sight. Check it and I think you'll see where I'm coming from. These horns slow it down. I'm gone forever and then this frantic bongo drum solo comes in to move into an instrumental with a sax over the top. The strings add to the mood and pace. It uplifts, makes me feel happy yet reflective. I love it's energy and warmth. Mr. Mayfield kills it. As I said, I'm not into thinking about my last day obsessively or anything but hey, it's my curtain call tune and I ain't about get chumped leaving to 'All things bright and beautiful'.

So, Your funeral tune? Definitely only get one choice.

I can't think of a dubstep tune at the moment, but all time I gotta say:

Isaac Hayes: Walk on By

Those strings get me everytime...you gotta roll down the windows and bump that...hell, I barely get around to the whole tune, I just keep rewinding the intro. Classic. I gotta remix it. Also....

Gonna Fly Now

Roll down the windows and bump that...it's a motivational tune...silly, but motivational. Makes me feel like I can do anything. I've bumped that tune and had people give me the thumbs up as I've been driving. I'm still waiting for someone to yell..."Eyyyyyy Rockoooooo!"

Loefah - Life Dub

this might be because i searched for it for so long, then found it and paid retail for it.
but it might be because it's a fuckin sick track with sick samples and sick bass.

Anti War Dub is a seminal track and will rarely if never bettered.

However Loefah is my favourite producer with Ruffage being the embodiement of raw uncheck squelch. Raspeck!

Benga Judgement remix i heard Hatcha play at FWD>> was intense too.

Too many big tunes. Too hard to choose.

Hold tight on that one!

Just had to dig out Richie Spice "Marijuana" and play that to death until Coki's drops his version. Heard there is a bidding war going on for it at the moment.
